Tolomeo Mega Outdoor is designed for use without a diffuser, with the exposed opal glass diffusing unit covering the source and ensuring IP protection: in this version it looks like a traditional lamppost. Tolemeo Mega Outdoor floor is supplied with the plug on cord, if used this way the lamp is IP44; which is an outdoor product but due to the plug on cord it cannot be in direct contact with water. If the lamp plug is removed and hard wired in a waterproof electrical box, Tolomeo Mega Outdoor lamp is then rated IP65.
